Hi all,

Thanks for stopping by, as usual this winter has brought the blues. I have sadly, again, neglected The Blog! I promise to be better with updating this wonderful tool, I have just gotten caught in the joys and ease of the Facebook world. I can post sneak peeks and share with freinds, family and so many more. I think what I will do is start a more serious blogging topic, Tasteful Tuesday, Wednesday Wins, Friday Finds, and so on. Followers will have to check out what all the hype is about then, right?

As I wait for warmer days to come to Central Illinois my kiddos and I are finding cabin fever to be just what we needed to bond. Beckett is growing fast, one in April! Can you believe it? It feels as if just yesterday I was posting my maternity leave! Memphis celebrated her 5th Birthday this winter with a bowling bash! She is so grown up in so many ways. Not to mention, beyond her years! Well here are a few shots that made me smile today, Enjoy.

Wow, life has it's course for us doesn't it? For those of you who don't know, I am a mother first and foremost, a Hair Stylist by trade & 16 hours per week, and a hobbyist of photography. I take appointments for sessions, and book Weddings almost weekly. I do not overbook myself and turn down some sessions and Weddings. I know my limits and although my limits have been questioned by others, I run this show! I love what I do and I don't have to sacrifice time away from my children. I am away from my children at a max of 4 hours a day, every other day! Some weeks, I only work 1 or 2 days! What can I say, I am blessed! As I start my newest venture to pursue a business with Thirty-One Bags I hope you will all support me. As much as I love hair & photography, they don't always pay the bills. I enjoy being an independent woman as I was before my wonderful marraige! I love my "Independent" husband, but I like to bring home some of the butter too! I hope that instead of questioning my ability to cover all of my bases, you will all embrace my energy and optomism to create a new door when I saw one closing. God has chosen this path for my family that we are on, and we will take full advantage of it! I love so many of you for supporting my business and giving me something to look forward too. For those of you who needed clarification on what I was doing and when I hope this helped!

I am in the salon at Get Skulpted, Wed 3-7, Thursday 4-8, Friday 12-4 and Every Other Saturday 8-12. I am booking my Thiry-One Parties, which last 2 hours, on Tuesday Evenings.

Beckett Berry joined us on April Fool's Day! He was a big boy, weighing in a 9 lbs 4 oz!! He is so beautiful! He and his sister are the light of my life right now! No one ever told me how fun having a son could be!! He is so amazing in his very own way!! And already showing some attitude! (Wonder where he gets that from!) Because i love candid photos! that is the only way to capture the truely special moments in life. i want to remember this day for the rest of my life and when i look at these photos i dont want to look at some boring poses, i want to see the emotions felt and conveyed at that particular moment. i think "A Life in Motion" photography captures just that.

*Your vision for your wedding?

I want a cute and simple yet beautiful wedding. my colors are pastel yellow and pastel green and my flower is daisies. i am making all of my own center pieces, place cards, decorations, and wedding favors. we will have the ceremony outside on their Hazel's Hill ceremony site, and the reception will be in the Hespell Deck which overlooks the elk pasture. the three walls surrounding the dance floor open up like garage doors onto to deck, to give the reception more of a feeling of outdoors. if weather werent so unpredictable we would just love to have everything outside!

We met through a mutual friend (Lesa) at a bar the week before christmas '05. which doesnt sound very interesting but from the moment we met there was a spark! we were never friends first, its almost as though it was love at first sight! aww kinda corny but its true. weve been together ever since.
weve actually gotten along great in our relationship, weve never broken up or had too many big fights. the usual stuff couples bicker about i guess.
i like to joke that he is my prince charming because when i was a little girl i had the biggest crush on prince eric from the little mermaid! haha i know im silly but i thought his black hair and blue eyes made him sooo handsome. tovi is italian and has dark brown hair and blue eyes. my prince charming come to life!
one day we were talking about our ancestry and i told him my grandma said we were "mutts" but that she thought we had native american in us because we have high cheek bones in our family. ever since then tovi likes to call me "charittwah" because he says it is my "indian princess name":)
so i guess we are each others prince charming and princess in real life!

My name is Jennifer, and my fiance is Ron. We are getting married on April 30th, 2011, and we are not 100% decided on a venue right now. After viewing your website and also your Facebook page, I love the feeling that is captured in every one of your pictures. None of them are just a simple snapshot, but they each tell a story and have a fun flair to them also. That is exactly what I want for my wedding day. I want something just as unique and special as we are, and something that will truly show how special and amazing our special day was! My vision for our wedding is simple, yet unique. I picture the sun shining, surrounded by only my closest friends and family, and fully prepared to be joined as one with the love of my life.

Wow.. the story of us. We actually discovered each other via the internet late 2005 in a chatroom. Online "dating" is pretty tough because it is hard to see the "diamond in the rough" among all of the others. Ron was extremely kind and respectful towards me, and after about a year of talking, we finally decided to meet. I can't say that it has been a perfect journey, but it is one that I wouldn't trade for the world. I have an 8 year old son Danny who is very grateful for having Ron in his life, and Ron has taken on Danny as if he was his own. We both take an interest in motorcycles, wine and music (how's that for a combination)?

All in all, I cannot imagine my life without Ron. We balance each other out, hes the outspoken one who's filter doesn't get much use (you know, that filter that most of us have in our heads that thinks about words before allowing them out of our mouths), and I'm the quiet one with an overused filter. =)

Well Here goes, I have started my blog to share my photos with all of you, my family and friends. Until last year I never realized I was the one missing in all of the photos, I was always behind the camera. The true inspiration to my beginning love of capturing life in motion through photography was truly my daughter. The experience of having your own personal model that you can mold and pose into any position you want to capture is amazing. I have always been an artist at heart and I believe I have shared that with many of you behind the chair. As a hair stylist I have met a lot of intriguing people and I cannot wait to begin the same with this adventure! Life in Motion Photography will be dedicated to capturing you and yours in the moment. I will give you my undivided attention and help you find your comfort zone to capture the moments that meant the most. On-site and studio portraits are available.
